No prior volunteer experience necessary
What to Expect
Volunteers are the backbone of Totnes Pride. We can suit a volunteer role to fit your time availability and access needs.
Volunteers who contribute one, 3 hour shift will be expected to:
Attend at least 2 volunteer meetings:
One in the months leading up to pride
One in the week leading up to the festival
In return you will receive:
A free ticket for each shift completed
Discounts at local vendors
Volunteer breakfast
A thank you meal after the festival

We are looking for 20 members of our wonderfully diverse queer community to help us “invade” Totnes Castle and wrap a 15O m Pride Flag around the battlements on Sat 26th Sept. We would love to involve younger, middling and older queer folk, different identities and different stories in this unique shared moment of queer visibility and joy! Want to fly the flag? Calling all queer makers who want to sell their wares! On Sunday the 27th there will be outdoor space for a market in Dartington. We’re looking for stalls of makers and 2-3 food vendors. We’re also keen to hear from queer musicians / DJs who’d like to perform during the market.
